‘It crawled out of the tree, and we realized we’d messed up its home.’: Tiny raccoon given full fur baby experience by guilt ridden family who mistakenly chopped down its tree home

It is no big secret that if your work involves being in and around nature that there is a good chance you will come face to face with your fair share of animal acquaintances. So you can imagine that someone who's work involves bringing big old trees down has seen more than a few cute critters in their line of work. But unlike the other times that this hooman came face to face with an animal who might have called a tree home, this pawticular encounter ended up being far more impactful and meaningful for all involved.

Unlike other times, this time the cute critter in question, a baby raccoon, had called the hollowed out interior of this tree home and he was not willing to run away like other animals usually do. Instead opting to stick around and see whether the hoomans who so rudely wrecked his place of living might have something to offer him in the way of compensation. Thankfully he was very right to do so as the couple who found him felt truly sorry for destroying his home and decided that the only right thing to do was to offer him a home with them.

And so began a heartwarming journey in which this trash panda got to experience the life that only cats and dogs are privy to. A life of luxury, lavish experiences and tons of love. A life that is the furthest from feral a critter can get. So hold onto your hats because this is about to become utterly heartwarming.

There are many unexpected things that tree surgeons come across while at work. But a mammalian resident in their tree is certainly not one you would expect.

And just like the little baby that this critter is, it fell alseep in its new pawrent's arms.

And now the full fur baby treatment begins to take effect. Who ever heard of a raccoon recieving a bath in the wild? Nah, this is proper fur baby stuff right here.

Surprisingly, and likely becuase this sweet thing was so young it submitted to the bathing.

With each passing day of growth and discovery our trash panda grew closer to his new family.

His pawrents even went as far as to get their paws on some hooman child enrichment games.

And if the games were not hooman-like enough then the swim lessons with floaties certainly were.
